With over two decades of experience in the fashion and luxury sectors, Laurence Lapierre brings a wealth of knowledge to KCD Paris. Her career includes significant roles at prestigious fashion houses such as Chloé and Burberry, establishing her as a leader in global communications and marketing. Lapierre’s tenure at these institutions has equipped her with a nuanced understanding of the fashion industry, as well as a keen ability to navigate its evolving landscape.
Lapierre began her career as a public relations assistant at Thierry Mugler before joining Chloé in 1999. At Chloé, she led press relations, international public relations, and VIP strategy. Her journey continued at Burberry, where she spent over 15 years shaping the brand’s marketing and communications strategies across Europe. Notably, she played a pivotal role in integrating Burberry’s beauty division into its broader marketing framework. From 2012 to 2023, she served as the director of marketing and communications for the European region, overseeing key initiatives that enhanced Burberry’s global presence.
Educational Background and Vision
Laurence Lapierre holds a master’s degree in public relations communication from ISCOM, a leading marketing and communications school in Paris, and a degree in general management from the esteemed ESSEC Business School. Her educational foundation, combined with her professional expertise, positions her to bring a fresh perspective and innovative strategies to KCD Paris.
