A Weekend of Fashion at the W Hollywood Hotel
The Population Appeard was thrilled to cover Los Angeles Fashion Week (LAFW) 2024, held from October 18–20 at the iconic W Hollywood Hotel. The hotel, freshly renovated with $160 million in upgrades, offered an elegant backdrop with its Rooftop Pool and Penthouse Event Space. Fashionistas, designers, and industry insiders gathered to witness groundbreaking collections from leading designers like Adolfo Sanchez, Jeeter, House of Barretti, and Unknown Union. The red carpet, illuminated by sleek Cyber Trucks from RC1 Wraps, welcomed guests in true LA style.
Runway Highlights
Throughout the weekend, LAFW showcased an impressive range of talent:
Adolfo Sanchez brought haute couture to life with intricate, high-fashion pieces.
Jeeter wowed audiences with bold streetwear that captured LA’s urban vibe.
House of Barretti infused luxury with contemporary flair, offering elegantly crafted pieces.
Mother of Pearl exemplified eco-friendly fashion, merging chic style with sustainability.
Other collections included vibrant swimwear from CI Swimwear and Slay Swimwear, the imaginative streetwear of Haus of Moss, and classic Hollywood glam by Sergio Hudson.
The Complete LAFW Experience
Beyond the runways, the Sponsor Village treated guests to local treats from Last Cumb and refreshing drinks from Poppi, while Ike’s Sandwiches, Drybar, and Jimmy Crystal NY added luxury touches. Attendees mingled, networked, and soaked in the creative energy, making it a truly immersive fashion experience.
